Sr. Pharmacy Technician
Overview
The Sr. Pharmacy Technician provides high level support to patients, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare staff to effectively process and provide relevant information within the assigned function(s). The incumbent ensures all activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures, pharmacy regulations and other regulatory requirements.
Job Description
The Sr. Pharmacy Technician supports and collaborates with nurses and other healthcare staff to process prescription requests and maintain accurate databases. They serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring the facilitation of diverse customer requests. They also mentor other staff members and assist with various projects as assigned.
Success Profile
A successful Sr. Pharmacy Technician must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical and organizational skills, and possess excellent computer skills. They must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, able to work cohesively within a team, and have great leadership and interpersonal skills. Additionally, they should have strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
