Pharmacy Technician Sr

Job Description Department Pharmacy Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician Sr assist and support pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner supporting and promoting medication safety. The Pharmacy Technician Sr routinely performs more specialized roles than Pharmacy Technician III's and may assist with administrative tasks. Required Qualifications Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida. Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance. Require Certified Pharmacy Technician credential from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Require three (3) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization. Preferred Qualifications Prefer completion of PTCB certificate program or advanced certification in area of specialization.
