Sr. Marketing Director - Digital Discovery and Marketing Integration
About the role
This role leads and directs work across the team to develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy for a portfolio of programs, products, and processes. You will use data to make strategic marketing program decisions, build partnerships across the enterprise, and drive priorities and project direction. The position involves making complex decisions with notable impact at the division level, demonstrating return on investment, identifying risks, tracking budgets and scope of work, defining and prioritizing solutions, and deploying required resources.
As the Senior Director of Digital Discovery and Marketing Integration, you will serve as the operational ‘glue’ connecting work across LLMs, search, social, and other digital channels. You will help define and shape the future of the Bank’s integrated go-to-market approach to discoverability across all lines of business. Partnering with agencies, media platforms, and internal teams, you will engage prospects and customers, drive profitable outcomes for the brand, and keep pace with evolving requirements in the search and discovery space.
You will provide thought leadership and serve as an energetic, evangelistic voice and operational lead to key internal stakeholders, helping marketing executives understand business impact and value. Responsibilities
- Accountable for marketing effectiveness and integration across Paid Media, Paid Search, SEO/GEO, Content, and other digital partner organizations throughout the enterprise.
- Connect cross-functional teams and ensure well-structured, cohesive, and holistic strategies regarding digital discoverability, including LLMs, Search, and Social.
- Serve as a key contact across internal, agency, and publisher/media partner relationships.
- Articulate digital discovery strategy, coordinate paid and organic planning, targeting, and tactics, and gain executive support.
- Partner with Brand Safety and Platforms and Delivery teammates to innovate with a lens toward AI-first and agentic experiences in a brand-suitable and compliant manner.
- Act as an enterprise-level thought leader surrounding the evolving search and discovery landscape.
- Work closely with colleagues on the Search CoE and Paid Media teams to measure and demonstrate the full value of digital discoverability.
- Oversee project management, planning, operations, legal, risk, and compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SEO, Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Social Media, or related digital channels—with a top brand and/or agency strongly preferred.
- Full command of search and related marketing channel strategies and the business models of search and discovery engines (Google, Microsoft, Pinterest, YouTube, LLMs, etc.).
- Extensive experience with search and discovery advertising platforms and related technologies like web analytics tools and CDPs (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google SA360/DV360, Google/Adobe Analytics, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Meta, etc.).
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience with LLM visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) across environments like ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Co-Pilot, Perplexity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to craft compelling verbal and written narratives with clarity and brevity.
