Sr. Manager S4 HANA Plant Maintenance Digital Technology Analyst (Remote)

This position is remote, but the successful candidate must work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories). U.S. citizenship is required.

About the role

RTX is harmonizing key business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across the company through the OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Program. This initiative enables the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems using SAP’s S/4HANA. The SAP Plant Maintenance Digital Technology Analyst will support the successful delivery of each phase of the program, including Blueprint, Build, Test, Cutover, and Hypercare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Digital Technology deliverables for the Blueprint, Build, Test, Cutover, Deployment, and Hypercare phases of the S/4HANA Plant Maintenance module implementation.
• Collaborate with business and digital teams to understand requirements and provide guidance on leveraging S/4HANA for Plant Maintenance processes and related Master Data.
• Design and implement solutions that enhance Plan to Sustain processes in alignment with RTX’s operating model and industry best practices.
• Facilitate end-to-end process mapping of Plant Maintenance business scenarios between S/4HANA and related boundary systems.
• Lead requirements gathering, data mappings, configuration, build, and testing of the S/4HANA system for Plant Maintenance.
• Serve as a liaison across cross-functional teams for Digital Technology deliverables during Build, Test, Cutover, Implementation, and Hypercare phases.
• Coordinate activities across Digital Technology, Business Unit, Corporate, System Integrators, and PMO teams to ensure successful completion and communication of assigned work.
• Create and maintain project artifacts, including Configuration Design Documents, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, and Test Plans for in-scope Plant Maintenance processes.
• Lead testing and defect remediation for S/4HANA in support of Plant Maintenance processes.
• Assist data and process teams in data mapping and testing activities.
• Ensure RTX is positioned for future success in all functional areas of Plan to Sustain.
• Travel up to 25% or as needed.

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience configuring and supporting SAP ERP, including technical knowledge of the Plant Maintenance module (Equipment, Functional Locations, Notifications, Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans).
• Hands-on experience supporting data cleansing and migration activities.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience working on large, complex aerospace and defense (A&D) enterprise projects or similarly regulated, large organizations.
• Experience with agile frameworks or iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD. The range reflects all experience levels, and RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
