Associate Director - S4 HANA Digital Operations Manager (Remote)

RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance. The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is a major, multi-year initiative under oneRTX that aligns with our company goals to optimize how we work, operate, and deliver to customers. oneRTX: PST will harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform—SAP’s S/4 HANA. The result will be a unified user experience, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks, enabling employees to focus on value-add activities.
The Enterprise Hub will be the first S/4 HANA implementation for oneRTX | PST, servicing the needs of the corporate home office and enterprise services at RTX. Capabilities include finance for corporate, indirect procurement, treasury, tax, consolidations, financial planning, and related shared services operations.
About the Role
The Enterprise Hub Lead is responsible for supporting the successful entry into service and ongoing support of the EHUB processes. This role is ideal for candidates with experience driving large-scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, particularly ERP implementations using SAP’s S/4HANA.
Responsibilities
- Support successful delivery within each phase of the PST Program as it relates to the Corporate Enterprise Hub implementation:
- Cutover & Hypercare: Support data mapping and migration from legacy systems to the Corp Enterprise Hub environment. Ensure go-live and continuation of RTX’s financial and operational performance.
- Ongoing Support: Transition to sustainment as part of the Corporate SAP team supporting the S/4HANA Enterprise Hub instance. Support the Release 1 operations team until Release 2 is implemented (approximately 6 months later).
- Manage metrics and priorities for ongoing change requests.
- Complete special projects related to the implementation or support of EHUB.
- Collaborate and communicate with resources within and outside the oneRTX: Process Systems and Transformation program to drive alignment.
Travel requirement: 25–50% during project rollout, expected to reduce thereafter.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience. In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in digital technology systems implementation, with a strong focus on SAP ERP solutions and design.

- Experience leading or supporting teams with SAP integrations such as Tax engine, Workday, and Treasury applications.
- Experience with Corporate and Enterprise Service functions, particularly supporting finance and accounting processes from a technology standpoint.

- Ability to plan, manage, and deliver across numerous workstreams, translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
- Experience working on large, complex aerospace & defense (A&D) enterprise projects—or similarly regulated, large organizations.
- Experience with agile frameworks and iterative approaches to software development and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, controls, and security measures.
- Experience implementing and maintaining compliance standards within an ERP system.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $157,200–$298,800 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Schedule
This position is designated as remote, with the requirement to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees in remote roles work primarily offsite but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. Travel during project rollout is estimated at 25–50%, with a reduction expected thereafter.
