Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $123,000.00 – $205,100.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 20% based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national strategy for Grainger's facility services programs, including preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, food services, janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, fire protection, dock equipment, waste, security, and other national service categories.
- Lead strategic relationships with national service providers, establishing KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, governance routines, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve service quality while controlling cost.
- Serve as the senior business partner for Facility Services, communicating program performance, operational risks, financial results, and strategic recommendations to Corporate Real Estate leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Own the performance of facility service programs through ServiceChannel and related technology platforms by monitoring work order performance, preventative maintenance compliance, vendor responsiveness, business partner satisfaction, and operational metrics.
- Lead sourcing support activities including scope development, RFP participation, vendor evaluations, implementation planning, and enterprise-wide rollout of new facility service programs in partnership with Indirect Procurement.
- Drive financial stewardship across assigned programs by managing operating budgets, forecasting spend, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and developing business cases supported by operational and financial analytics.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and technology adoption utilizing ServiceChannel, Smartsheet, Power BI, SAP, and other digital tools to improve visibility, reporting, and business outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Facility Services team while fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement aligned with Grainger's leadership principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in facility management, vendor management, property management, corporate real estate, or operations leadership
- Experience leading national service programs with responsibility for supplier governance and performance management
- Experience managing significant operating budgets and developing financial analyses and business cases
- Knowledge of enterprise facilities management, supplier governance, contract administration, and national service program operations
- Experience developing operational strategies, KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and business cases using analytics to drive performance
- Knowledge of facility management technologies including ServiceChannel, SAP, Smartsheet, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office to support operational reporting and continuous improvement
- Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders, leading supplier performance reviews, and driving enterprise process improvement initiatives
Schedule
This is a Hybrid role that will require at least 2 to 3 days working onsite out of our Lake Forest, IL office location. All candidates must either be already local or willing and able to relocate to the Chicagoland area if offered the position.
