About the role

As a Senior Manager on the Digital Wealth Advisory Offer Management team, you will help shape how Schwab evaluates, prioritizes, and advances new capabilities that enhance the digital wealth advisory experience for clients and advisors. In this highly strategic role, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy, product, technology, governance, and external partners to turn emerging opportunities—including AI-enabled capabilities—into clear, actionable paths forward. Your work will influence which opportunities move ahead, how they are assessed, and how leaders align around the initiatives with the greatest client, business, and enterprise value. You will bring structure to ambiguity by defining evaluation criteria, framing opportunities, and translating complex inputs into recommendations that support sound decision-making. Success in this role requires strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to build momentum across a broad group of stakeholders while reducing duplication, strengthening partnerships, and improving how Digital Wealth Advisory brings innovation to market.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business, client, and advisor needs and translate them into strategic opportunities, structured recommendations, and prioritized initiatives.
  • Assess the wealth technology landscape, including emerging AI trends, external partner ecosystems, and competitive dynamics.
  • Use data, market insights, and business inputs to support decision-making, opportunity assessment, and roadmap direction.
  • Influence senior leaders and drive alignment across business, technology, risk, and governance partners.
  • Navigate governance, compliance, and regulatory considerations in a financial services environment.
  • Simplify complex topics and create clarity across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Build business cases, executive materials, or strategic recommendations that support enterprise decision-making.
  • Manage vendor intake, external partner assessments, or partnership management.
  • Balance innovation velocity with governance rigor while advancing client-centric outcomes.
  • Assess operational feasibility, scalability, and long-term business impact when shaping new opportunities.
  • Design and facilitate executive forums, innovation showcases, or leadership reviews that translate innovation into strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in wealth management, wealth technology, or a related financial services environment.
  • 6+ years of experience in offer management, product strategy, digital strategy, or digital capability development within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the wealth technology landscape, including emerging AI trends, external partner ecosystems, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across business, technology, risk, and governance partners.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating governance, compliance, and regulatory considerations in a financial services environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders.
  • Experience building business cases, executive materials, or strategic recommendations that support enterprise decision-making.
  • Experience with vendor intake, external partner assessments, or partnership management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating AI, Generative AI, or digital innovation capabilities within financial services.
  • Ability to balance innovation velocity with governance rigor while advancing client-centric outcomes.
  • Demonstrated strength in collaboration, adaptability, and problem solving across multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience influencing broader transformation, modernization, or enterprise strategy initiatives.
  • Familiarity with product roadmaps, innovation forums, or structured evaluation processes that improve consistency and execution quality.
  • Experience designing and facilitating executive forums, innovation showcases, or leadership reviews.
