Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual bid development process, aligning strategic goals, financial targets, and benefit design
  • Build and lead a competitive intelligence capability by integrating industry trends and competitor insights into strategic recommendations
  • Evaluate performance and strategic fit of the product portfolio, developing data-driven recommendations for enhancements and new launches
  • Shape benefit change strategy in collaboration with Actuarial and Growth teams, with attention to financial and sales impacts
  • Develop multi-year scenario models for forecasting membership growth and financial performance to inform strategic decisions
  • Evaluate new geographic markets and execute the market entry playbook, defining resources and ownership
  • Oversee analysis and preparation for monthly business reviews in partnership with the Chief of Staff
  • Lead innovative projects focused on partnerships and other growth initiatives, guiding them from recommendations to implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, finance, or management consulting, ideally in the Medicare Advantage or managed care industry
  • Exceptional quantitative analysis skills for financial and membership scenario modeling
  • Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage economics, bid mechanics, and factors driving profitable growth
  • Pioneering track record of leading market expansion or new product development projects from concept to execution
  • Strong ability to analyze competitor strategies and market trends for informed decision-making
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
