Sr Manager, Implementation - Business & In-Branch (MANTL)
About the role
The Senior Manager of Business & In-Branch Implementations is responsible for owning the strategy, execution, and leadership of MANTL's most complex, relationship-defining implementation work. This role is critical for scaling the implementation function and ensuring high-quality, predictable delivery.
Responsibilities
Own the vertical: Set the strategy, capacity plan, and operating model for Business Omni, in-branch, and specialty account type implementations across MANTL's customer base.
Build and lead a senior team: Hire, coach, and develop a team of senior Implementation Managers and specialists.
Establish the playbook: Define, document, and enforce the standard implementation methodology across account types.
Own the backlog and forecast: Take end-to-end accountability for pipeline health, in-flight risk, and delivery pacing.
Be the senior customer partner: Serve as the executive escalation point for complex, high-stakes customer implementations.
Drive cross-functional strategy: Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Support at the leadership level.
Operate on the leadership team: Report to the Director of Implementation and operate as a peer to Service Delivery leadership.
Requirements
8–12 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or delivery, with a meaningful portion in SaaS or fintech.
4+ years of direct people management experience, ideally leading a team of senior ICs in a complex, customer-facing delivery environment.
Direct experience working inside a bank or credit union, or leading implementations for financial institutions at a vendor.
Hands-on experience with account opening software.
Demonstrated track record of building or rebuilding an implementation function.
Structured, process-oriented mind.
Executive-grade written and verbal communication.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Preferred
Familiarity with DNA, IBS, Symitar, or other major core banking systems.
Experience owning a portfolio of concurrent implementations across diverse customer types and channels.
Prior experience scaling an implementation team from lean to "built."
