About the role

Pilot Company is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to join our team in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial diesel equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and fleet customers

Requirements

• Previous experience as a diesel technician or commercial service technician
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills for entering work orders
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school certification in diesel mechanics preferred
• Experience with heavy-duty truck repair
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
