About the role
The Senior Manager leads the Worldwide Technical Business Development team for Storage and Data Protection within the Worldwide Specialist Organization at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the worldwide GTM strategy for Storage and Data Protection, including revenue targets, adoption goals, pipeline development, and market share growth.
- Define customer segmentation, identify high-value opportunity areas, and develop targeted go-to-market plays for key workloads and industry verticals.
- Build and scale programs — including workshops, immersion days, migration frameworks, and reference architectures — that drive customer adoption and accelerate migration from on-premises and competitive solutions.
- Partner with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps by surfacing customer requirements, competitive intelligence, and market trends.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with ISV, consulting, and systems integration partners critical to the success of the storage and data protection business.
- Establish metrics and mechanisms to track business performance; deliver regular business reviews to senior leadership with clear insights and recommended actions.
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, customer success stories, executive presentations, and industry engagement.
- Collaborate with field sales leadership to align on territory strategies, account planning, and opportunity execution for strategic customers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience.
- Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams.
- Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience.
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is $193,700.00 - $262,000.00 USD annually.
