About the role
The Sr. Solutions Architect, Storage, WW Storage Specialists role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is aimed at guiding customers on data storage best practices and helping to shape the future of AWS storage services. This role requires a strong foundation in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
Responsibilities
- Enable the AWS SA community to design cost-optimized, secure, scalable, storage architectures
- Help AWS customers adopt well-architected storage solutions
- Build technical trusted advisor relationships with internal and external customers
- Refine best practices around storage services and solutions
- Influence service roadmaps by identifying customer trends
- Work with service teams on the launch of new features/services

Qualifications
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
