Sr. Solutions Architect, Storage, WW Storage Specialists
About the role
The Sr. Solutions Architect, Storage, WW Storage Specialists is responsible for guiding AWS customers on data storage best practices and helping shape the future growth of AWS storage services. This role requires frequent interaction with the Storage Business Development and Sales teams to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of AWS storage services.
Responsibilities
- Enable the AWS SA community to design cost-optimized, secure, scalable, storage architectures
- Help AWS customers adopt well-architected storage solutions
- Build technical trusted advisor relationships with internal and external customers
- Refine best practices around storage services and solutions
- Influence service roadmaps by identifying customer trends
- Work with service teams on the launch of new features/services

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
