About the role
The Sr. Solutions Architect, Storage, WW Storage Specialists role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) involves guiding customers on data storage best practices and helping shape the future of AWS storage services. This role requires frequent interaction with the Storage Business Development and Sales teams to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive storage service adoption.
Responsibilities
- Enable the AWS SA community to design cost-optimized, secure, scalable, storage architectures
- Help AWS customers adopt well-architected storage solutions
- Build technical trusted advisor relationships with internal and external customers
- Refine best practices around storage services and solutions
- Influence service roadmaps by identifying customer trends
- Work with service teams on the launch of new features/services

Qualifications
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Priorities
Experience working with end user or developer communities, cloud technology certifications (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud DevOps Engineering), and knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals are preferred.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation is determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and parental leave.
Schedule
This role requires domestic travel up to 25% to 50%.
