Sr. Manager, Customer Supply Chain

About the role

At Lactalis US Yogurt, we are hiring a Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain based in Londonderry, NH. This role serves as the primary supply chain liaison between yogurt customers, enabling service excellence and strengthening senior-level supply chain relationships with an assigned set of customers. You will partner with commercial and supply chain teams to enhance approaches and offerings, providing input from a customer lens to inform new policies, efficiency programs, and capabilities. This position will help shape the strategic approach to customer engagement on supply chain topics and influence the internal supply chain consolidation roadmap with consideration of customer implications. You will also define metrics to measure the value delivered by customer supply chain programs and implement scorecards and tracking mechanisms to meet integration, efficiency, and policy goals. This role reports to the Director, Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Team: Lead and coach the team to ensure order-to-delivery excellence with customers; enable policy compliance; identify and influence customers on operational efficiency (e.g., Ti-Hi and Order Patterns); lead process changes on service, communication, and capability improvements.
• World-Class Customer Supply Chain Partner: Build partnerships with customer senior supply chain management; engage in Joint Business Plan (JBP) meetings, publications, and annual planning; build and publish customer scorecards; identify KPI improvement areas and lead influence conversations to reduce costs and execute programs (e.g., OTIF, CPU, Fines & Fees); lead and influence policy, programs, and capabilities.
• Internal Supply Chain Liaison: Act as the voice-of-customer lead for network consolidation, including internal analysis, design, build, test, and launch; lead strategic voice-of-customer efforts to define, refine, and launch efficiency programs and opportunities; influence enhanced policy governance; represent and guide customer focus on Lactalis priorities such as waste, transportation/CPU, and warehouse efficiency; identify cost-to-serve root causes and develop action plans for overall cost optimization.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Customer Supply Chain team; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required; Supply Chain Management or relevant field preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of supply chain experience; at least 2 years in customer service or sales supporting a major customer; Consumer Packaged Goods experience and Food Industry experience preferred; experience across multiple disciplines, preferably in logistics and/or sales; experience leading cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Certifications and Specific Knowledge: Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution, and continuous improvement; supply chain expertise; customer-focused operations; strategic and scenario planning; project and program management; data and analytics/technology proficiency; continuous improvement.
