Key Job Responsibilities

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through to successful agreements.
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and market strategies for short, mid, and long-term client attraction.
  • Achieve sales targets and other KPIs as defined by management.
  • Drive the sales cycle from leads to ongoing account relationships as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within your assigned area.
  • Expand sales to existing customers by identifying additional needs and developing appropriate sales strategies to meet their needs.
  • Create new leads through cold calling, networking, and follow-up to successfully close the business.
  • Monitor customers and competitor activities in the market and report important information to management.
  • Manage channel sales partners and identify white spaces to develop new partnerships.
  • Continuously improve current knowledge of existing and new products and services.

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates Required

  • Degree or Diploma in the technical discipline.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of working experience in metal cutting products and experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in understanding and communicating all product and technical information.
  • Five years of proven track record in business sales or related market.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment.
