Sr Key Account Manager
About the role
Join us as a Key Account Manager in the Dallas, TX or Tulsa, OK region. You will develop a comprehensive business plan for your Region Accounts, focusing on growing operating profits and revenues. Your responsibilities include developing a development plan for each Account Rep, providing coaching and evaluation, and recommending strategic change strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive business plan for your Region Accounts
- Reinforce the performance appraisal process through coaching
- Provide a development plan for each Account Rep
- Evaluate Account Reps and recommend for reward and recognition
- Develop a strategic business plan to grow operating profits and revenue
- Identify and mobilize internal and external resources for specific space dimension improvement goals
- Manage and allocate local trade and promotional spending budgets
- Assess and evaluate the business results of your assigned customers
- Understand and translate national and regional policies, procedures, operating strategies, and plans to your account associates
- Create a collaborative environment where cooperation, credibility, candor, consistency, and a commitment to exceptional performance exist
- Develop value-added customer and consumer strategies to maximize the sales mission of increasing operating earnings and revenue
- Develop preferred relationships with customer's key decision-makers
- Review customer account to include assessment process; recommend improved strategies where needed
- Understand customer and consumer needs and provide value-added products
- Create leadership within the OTP category
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience in key account responsibility preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in consumer goods area
- Proven ability to communicate both verbally and written
- Good presentation development and delivery skills are mandatory
- Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Developed computer skills
- Ability to work with various class of trade accounts
- Likewise, legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000
