The Account Manager will cover the Kansas City/Missouri territory and report to the General Manager. The main responsibilities include:

  1. Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.
  2. Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries.
  3. Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets using Otis' sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
  4. Conduct sales negotiations and close deals.
  5. Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A business or technical degree or completion of relevant training as a technician or technical business administrator.
  • Initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements requiring consultation.
  • A strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of commitment and reliability.
  • A target-focused approach with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization.
