SR Human Resources Manager
Position Overview
Our client, a global manufacturer within a highly regulated industry, is seeking a strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the lead HR partner for its Cypress manufacturing campus. Supporting approximately 250 employees, this role will partner directly with senior operations leadership across manufacturing, production, and engineering while serving as the HR Site Leader responsible for cultivating a high-performing, engaged workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with manufacturing, production, and engineering leaders to develop and execute strategic human capital initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to site leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and employee engagement.
Lead organizational design initiatives, change management efforts, and organizational development programs that support business growth.
Coach and influence managers on performance management, employee relations, talent development, and California employment law.
Drive workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Analyze workforce metrics and HR data to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
Coordinate annual performance management, compensation planning, and headcount planning processes.
Serve as the HR Site Leader by driving employee engagement initiatives, strengthening company culture, coordinating site events, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
Participate in regional and enterprise-wide HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Seven or more years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience supporting operational leaders.
Background supporting manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, or other regulated environments strongly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of California employment law and demonstrated ability to advise leaders on complex employee matters.
Proven experience in workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, talent management, and change management.
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives.
Excellent analytical, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working within a matrixed organization and collaborating with Centers of Excellence.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors or similar systems is preferred.
