Sr Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
• Manage the on-boarding of new employees, including first weeks schedules, equipment purchases & set-ups and new hire paperwork.
• Validate employee hours with team leads and process payroll using the Employee Management system, Gusto.
• Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, or promotion opportunities.
• Address employee relations issues, such as work complaints, or employee recommendations.
• Work directly with the Managing Director on compensation and benefits for all employees, ensuring that relevant pay structures and benefits are in place.
• Work with department managers to develop a periodic review process to include career and financial pathing for employees at multiple levels within the business.
• Champion the company culture by being observant of employee feedback and perspective and developing initiatives to continuously foster a positive work environment.
• Ideate and organize team events, training and meet-ups.
• Work with the Managing Director to understand business goals and recommend new policies and procedures within the company to reach the business objectives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant HR Manager/People Operations experience.
• Experience using Gusto.
• Strong understanding of the various HR Functions (Health and Welfare, Payroll, Recruiting, HRIS, Operations and Compensation).
• Experience within an agency environment.
• Highly proficient in Google Suite - Sheets, Docs, Google Calendar and Gmail.
