About the role

This role serves as a strategic business partner for assigned lines of business, working closely with leaders to align people and business objectives. The position acts as a consultant and coach to leaders and employees, providing advice and support on business issues and change management initiatives that drive achievement of ICW Group’s business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to assess key people processes and serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business units.
  • Collaborate with leaders to build a people strategy, including growth, workforce and succession planning, and retention.
  • Advise and lead transformational initiatives to enhance leadership competence and organizational development for optimal performance.
  • Roll out processes such as performance management, compensation planning, and retention strategies.
  • Advise management on the impact of organizational structure changes, including job and title adjustments.
  • Develop an effective workforce plan and strategy, collaborating with talent acquisition to execute hiring plans and interview talent as needed.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop project plans for key components of the talent management approach.
  • Partner with compensation on the creation of new roles.
  • Lead the annual merit and bonus cycle for assigned business units, ensuring fair and consistent application of performance management.
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team on initiatives to ensure employee and leader development, engagement, and retention.
  • Advise on and facilitate change management strategies to align organizational culture with business goals.
  • Act as a change agent for key HR and business changes, providing project management for assigned HR projects.
  • Conduct performance and organizational readiness diagnostics.
  • Refine and roll out change management processes with the HR team, managers, and other resources, evaluating progress and revising plans as needed.
  • Recommend, design, and facilitate interventions to drive change initiatives across the organization.
  • Facilitate organizational diagnosis and metrics to improve efficiency through talent and organizational capabilities.
  • Guide and advise on organizational design, development, and change solutions.
  • Assess, design, and execute strategies to promote employee engagement and productivity for assigned business units.
  • Advise leaders on strategies and behaviors to improve employee engagement; serve as a thought leader for best practices in engagement, talent, and learning.
  • Provide leadership on performance management, suggesting improvements in program content, metrics, and technology to support culture and business objectives.
  • Serve as a knowledge expert and consultant, developing trusted relationships with business leaders to implement HR programs that promote engagement and retention.
  • Partner with managers to identify top talent and succession candidates, addressing gaps and opportunities to drive organizational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Education, or a related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related HR experience.
  • Certification in Organizational Development or Human Resources preferred.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of developing and designing organization effectiveness and engagement programs, performance management, and program evaluation.
  • Demonstrated skills in structured project management, written and verbal communication, facilitation, and internal consulting.
  • Experience leading project teams and utilizing problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills in a complex business environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing change management plans in organizations with 500+ employees.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to model team member behavior.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups, including executive-level presentation experience.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,559.93 - $152,723.07, exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and location.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
