About the Role
As a Sr. HR Intern within the HR Service Department, you will have the opportunity to live our HR Service Vision: We Care, We Understand, We Resolve. HR Service is the main point of contact for our associates across the US and Canada. We are available to help our customers navigate the sometimes complex world of HR topics like Compensation, Benefits, Training & Development, HR Technical Systems, and Payroll. We work in partnership with our Bosch HR Business Partners and HR Process Owners to help support in the deployment of HR initiatives. We educate our managers and associates on HR processes and HR technical tools, and help to troubleshoot when things get tricky. Every day we communicate with our customers and do real-time problem solving. If we can’t address their need in our team, we partner with other HR teams for additional expertise, all with the goal of getting the need resolved.
Responsibilities
- Support associates and managers with HR topics such as Compensation, Benefits, Training & Development, HR Technical Systems, and Payroll.
- Partner with Bosch HR Business Partners and HR Process Owners to deploy HR initiatives.
- Educate managers and associates on HR processes and HR technical tools.
- Troubleshoot HR-related issues and provide real-time problem-solving.
- Communicate with customers and collaborate with other HR teams to resolve needs.
Requirements
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Process/Quality Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Project Management, Business, or related field.
- Ability to work 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (one-year internship position).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics.
- Positive customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in navigating web-based systems and technology platforms, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, quick learner, and ability to adapt to change.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
Preferred class standing: Senior or Master’s level.
