About the role
Legacybox is seeking an Sr. HR Generalist to support the People team through various HR functions including recruiting, payroll/benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee support.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and interview front-line team members for Digifactory roles
- Support hiring and onboarding
- Point of contact for daily employee support and questions
- Absorb payroll administrator with bi-weekly payroll
- Review time off requests and time clock entries, missed punches
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and wage regulations
- Coverage of background checks, employment verification, and onboarding documentation as needed
- Address employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations as needed
- Maintain HRIS records and employee documentation with a high level of confidentiality
- Support benefits administration, insurance reconciliation, and employee communications regarding benefits
- Aid in training initiatives, performance evaluation processes, and employee development programs
- Compile reports and documentation related to OSHA, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and compliance requirements
- Partner with managers to support staffing needs, retention efforts, and organizational initiatives
- Coordinate benefits and employee programs, assist with open enrollment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll and/or HR operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish, a plus

Pay
$60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Monday - Friday
Hours: Typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (+/- 1 hour based on business needs)
