About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist with 6-8 years of HR or Talent Acquisition experience to support core HR Business Partners in North America. This role focuses on talent management, acting as a key link between HR Operations, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and the business to deliver HR services across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, a passion for developing a high-performing workforce, and the ability to drive talent strategies aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Management:
    • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to onboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition for assigned business groups, including providing overflow support during high-volume periods.
    • Work with hiring managers on job description creation, updates, and reviews to align with business objectives before handing off to Talent Acquisition.
    • Assist with grading and benchmarking in partnership with internal teams.
    • Support the talent management process by helping business leaders monitor and drive performance.
    • Assist managers in identifying performance issues and developing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) that align with company goals.
    • Provide coaching to managers on delivering and managing PIPs, including training and resources for effective PIP discussions and follow-up processes.
  • Employee Development & Retention:
    • Assist in annual performance management programs, including goal setting and employee evaluations.
    • Help drive engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition programs and culture-building activities.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture through proactive engagement.
    • Support conflict resolution and provide guidance on performance management processes.
    • Address employee relations concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts.
  • Compliance and Policies:
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
    • Help develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with company goals and legal requirements.
  • HR Administration:
    • Prepare and monitor HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and drive HR initiatives.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to HR processes, systems, and policies to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
    • Initiate master data changes for supported business groups within HR Operations processes.
  • Other Duties:
    • Work closely with sales leadership to understand team dynamics and workforce needs.
    • Drive other HR initiatives and projects as needed.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned to accomplish related results.
    • Embody and live the company’s values.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant HR or Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
  • Continuous learning mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a great attitude.
  • Desire to succeed and adapt to a changing environment.
