About the role
The Senior Hospitality Director is responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs for a leading Payment Services brand. The position is based in Stamford, CT, with flexibility for a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days per week in the office), and is open to candidates with experience in motorsports, golf, and entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments, and agency partners
- Oversee Americas Hospitality Programming for sponsorships across Canada, US, and LATAM
- Oversee Americas Hospitality Programming for Motorsports, Golf, and Entertainment properties
- Collaborate with the Americas team to manage the multiple properties' team relationships
- Manage an Americas-based team to plan and execute high-profile B2C/B2B events
- Integrate client's products and services into sponsorship programs
- Oversee B2B programming and Executive onsite management
- Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations
- Develop sales decks and presentations for internal and external audiences
- Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical
Requirements
- Strong and advanced skill set in the Executive/B2B hosting hospitality space
- Experience leading and hosting in Motorsports, Golf, and Entertainment
- Customer-centric mindset with social savvy across multiple marketing disciplines
- Experience working internationally or as part of a global team
- Experience working at major events such as Formula 1, Olympics, FIFA World Cup
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of work experience in hospitality or experiential marketing
- Proven experience managing VIP and executive groups
- Leadership presence with the ability to communicate concisely, persuasively, and effectively
- History of building positive relationships, both internally and externally
- Proactive, critical thinker with the ability to handle deadlines and coordinate key timelines
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high standard of excellence across the team
- Ability to forecast and mitigate issues/challenges effectively
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Skills
- Spanish speaker required
- Portuguese a plus
