The Sr. Group Sales Manager role is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth within a fast-moving travel technology environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive profitable growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets through effective negotiation, upselling, and cross-selling strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities by identifying prospects and engaging with businesses in the unmanaged travel marketplace.
- Develop trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients to increase group bookings and long-term customer value.
- Create customized sales proposals and presentations that highlight platform capabilities and align with customer goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, marketing, operations, and project management, to ensure successful execution of group bookings.
- Manage sales processes with strong organization, consistent follow-up, and effective time management practices.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Aptly adopt and leverage new sales tools, technologies, and processes to support team growth and operational scalability.
Requirements for the role include:
- Strong B2B sales experience, particularly in hospitality, technology, SaaS, or related industries.
- Proven success using consultative sales approaches to retain and expand customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, listening, and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of goals and outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use market insights, customer data, and industry trends to improve sales performance.
- Ability to build relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and sales methodologies.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, fintech, SaaS, or marketplace businesses is highly valued.
- Occasional travel required, up to 5% annually.
