Responsibilities
- Aid in the integrated logistics support planning, program budget development, and fielding and support of new equipment for CPI2.
- Serve as Project Lead for Field Support Teams.
- Cover mission briefs, support data, and recommendations to support mission requirements.
- Coordinate and develop Fielding plans to include equipment training, schedules, and logistics.
- Work closely with government customer providing mission briefs, support data, and recommendations to support mission requirements.
- Manage the integrated logistics activities supporting the installation and fielding of systems.
- Assist projects to comply with acquisition logistics management and life cycle support requirements such as assistant with BOIP development.
- Coordinate Material Release data for PM equipment, work with MACOM to meet their fielding timeline.
- Ensure system data is completed and prepared with system transition to sustainment.
- Cover property accountability functions.
- Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.
- Work as a lead fielder, working knowledge of DD Form1149 process. Issue equipment to unit, ensure property is added to the unit property book.
- Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
- Create inventory for shipping, loading on pallets, attaching green tags, creating DD Form 1149 documentation, and shrink-wrapping of pallets.
- Update NMIB and SYNCH slides. Ensure the PM and PSM approved slides and schedule.
- Conduct weekly meetings within the PM to ensure schedule and timeline will be conducted IAW agreement with units.
- Track all fielded equipment and update the PM and PEO on all equipment issues.
- Collaborate with the PdM Fielding Manager and Training Manager to ensure all support for the mission is assigned and conflicts are resolved prior to mission execution.
- Provide input to support the fielding schedule for the next two years, assisting PSM with cost, schedule, and perform data to assist with the budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 or more years relevant experience, or 8 years related experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
- An active Secret security clearance.
- Fielding network communications equipment to various CONUS and OCONUS locations for extended period of time.
- A working knowledge of US Army Logistics systems and processes.
- Knowledge Army Materiel Command (AMC), and Life Cycle Management (LCM) integrated logistics support policies, practices, methodologies.
- The ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Strong organization and communication skills and proficiency with MS Office products.
- Competency in communication, leadership, and logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management.
- The ability to travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS).
