Responsibilities

  • Work onsite at CVG to provide hands-on service for aircraft tow tractors, container loaders, aircraft deicers, baggage and cargo transport vehicles, and other airport GSE with ICE or EV platforms.
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Interface with PLC systems to upload/download programs, troubleshoot logic, and perform control system adjustments.
  • Collaborate with dealer technicians via phone/email or on-site for troubleshooting assistance.
  • Review technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to ensure accurate service procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation through work order systems; ensure issue resolution and service reporting.
  • Participate in OEM testing and equipment upgrades, as needed.
  • Provide end-user product orientation and safe operating procedures at customer sites.
  • Mentor or train junior or less-experienced technicians in-field when required.
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous GSE experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain a passport if necessary.
  • Must be able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Travel is between 40-50% of the time to other places other than CVG.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication; or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Proficient in electrical diagnostics and repair, mechanical systems and component-level service, hydraulic diagnostics and repair, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits

  • Per diem paid every night you spend away from home when traveling.
  • Hourly pay with overtime available.

Pay

$73,200.00 - $117,800.00
