Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data.
- Make a determination of failure mode, update databases and present test methodology as required.
- Implementing lab processes for equipment: scheduling, tracking, maintenance, calibration, and repair.
- Support common lab practices.
- Identify & recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
- Actively participate in Lab team goals and HOS activities.
- Assure compliance with established ETS processes.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in ultra-high vacuum operations.
- Familiar with vacuum equipment such as pumps, valves, and leak detectors.
- Ability to identify and diagnose root cause and resolution.
- Proficient in Word & Excel, including VBA.
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting unusual technical problems.
- Vacuum Technology Degree or willingness to complete core Vacuum Courses.
- Extensive experience with vacuum test equipment.
- Strong hand tool, equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of engineering test process and principles.
- Proficient at reading and understanding electronic schematics and engineering specifications.
- Able to work independently, demonstrate high integrity and accountability.
- Clearly accepts responsibility for tasks and decisions, ensures clear objectives.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $59,200 - $74,000.
