You will contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ successful data center facilities engineering, design and construction, working on engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This position is location flexible in the U.S. You’ll provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process. You may also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
  • Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate clients’ continually evolving requirements
  • Management of quality, scope, budget and schedule
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Passionate about buildings and construction
  • Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites

Skills

  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
