Sr. Electrical Engineer (Data Centers)
About the role
Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients’ continually evolving requirements.
Responsibilities
- Engineering and design of data center facility power distribution systems
- Design of UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities
- Retrofitting existing building systems to accommodate clients' evolving requirements
- Contribute to team technical collaboration
- Perform quality reviews of design packages
- Aid directly with other portions of the design process
- Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
- Solid working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- At least 3 years of data center facility design experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Collaborative and effective in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Passionate about buildings and construction
Skills
- Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $120,400.00 to $188,125.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
