About the role
Join Outcast, a strategic communications agency trusted by high-growth startups and established technology brands to define categories, influence markets, and build reputations that last. As a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist, you will develop and execute cross-channel digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives, spanning social, paid, influencer, content, and emerging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute cross-channel digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives, spanning social, paid, influencer, content, and emerging platforms.
- Partner closely with clients to understand business goals, audiences, and competitive landscapes, ensuring strategies are tailored to drive measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with creative, paid media, analytics, and influencer teams to design and execute cohesive campaigns.
- Translate data, insights, and learnings into recommendations for optimizing campaigns and improving performance.
- Support new business efforts by contributing to pitches, developing strategy slides, and articulating the agency’s digital approach and value proposition.
- Stay current on digital trends, platform updates, and best practices to proactively bring forward innovative ideas.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide clear reporting and insights to internal teams and clients.
- Build strong client relationships by communicating clearly, managing expectations, and delivering strategies that earn trust and drive results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; relevant certifications (Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot, etc.) a plus.
- 7–10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven record of developing and implementing successful multi-channel strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex strategies simple and actionable.
- A growth-minded, collaborative attitude and passion for helping clients and colleagues succeed.
- Willingness to work two days a week from one of our office hubs (San Francisco or New York).

- Proven track record of success in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
- Experience working with diverse client portfolios and a deep understanding of their unique needs and goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for staying current with industry trends and continuously learning new digital marketing techniques.
