Sr. Business Systems Analyst

NSCG is looking for a SR Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for communicating requirements and evaluating acceptance criteria as requested. The ideal candidate has a curious mind and enjoys taking on a challenging problem, breaking it down into sections, reviewing the information, and asking the right questions. This person must have exceptional people skills as well as creative solutions. This position is 100% remote. Primary Responsibilities: Elicit business functional and operational requirements including documenting HRC US Army Human Capital Management System (HCMS) activities related to business processes workflow, transactions and/or operational activitiesParticipate in requirements peer review activities with system/software developersConduct requirements validation with application functional users and stakeholders, including approvals by all stakeholders on all requirements documentation prior to development initiationWillingness and ability to coordinate onboarding activities for new employees joining the teamAs directed, create required reports to research, validate, and verify analytical informationEnsure that operational business process definitions are documented correctly (consistent, traceable, and verifiable)Participate in testing software changes for compliance with requirementsServe as liaison between the team and the government contacts to obtain needed information or documentsCollaborate with Project Management Team to gain approvals on deliverablesCreate technical processes to reduce inefficiency Required Education and Experience: 8-10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree. 6-8 years of experience with a Master’s degree. Experience and proficiency using all Microsoft Office productsExperience and proficiency using Azure DevOpsDemonstrated technical writing capabilitiesUS Citizen – No dual citizenshipPossess a Secret clearance or can obtain one. Must have at least an interim to begin work on the contractExperience writing or troubleshooting technical issuesExperience working with/in a software development team/environmentExperience eliciting and documenting software requirements Preferred Qualifications (not required): IAT II certification
