Sr Business Systems Analyst

About the role

This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to the Sunnyvale office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together. On-site presence is required 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday). The initial duration of the engagement is 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders using various techniques.
• Conduct thorough analysis of workflows and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Apply solid knowledge and hands-on configuration and/or development experience with the Client platform.
• Demonstrate hands-on domain knowledge in business processes and systems that support Sales.
• Influence and drive cross-functional, cross-geo teams as a self-motivated individual, promoting timely and effective communication.
• Ensure the application is supported by creating comprehensive requirement documentation and test cases (as needed).
• Recommend solutions and consider opportunities to extend and leverage existing tools/products.
• Operate within Agile development and methodologies.
• Exhibit a strong sense of urgency to help customers and deliver quality, innovative experiences quickly.
• Produce strong documentation and process maps.
• Manage stakeholders and cross-functional communication with excellence.
• Solve problems analytically with high attention to detail.
• Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• 5 years’ experience in business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Sales or Support 3rd-party tools such as Gong, Gainsight, or Nice WFM.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships across the organization.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple complex bodies of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident, self-aware team player open to receiving/providing feedback to peers and colleagues.
• Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge and use of analytical and data-analysis tools including Excel.
