Sr. Business System Analyst
This role can be located in Wichita, KS, Atlanta, GA, or Plano, TX and requires an in-office presence with flexibility. Visa sponsorship is not available.
About the role
The Sr. Business System Analyst will focus on payroll configuration, development, automation, and enhancements within the Payroll Product team, with a strong emphasis on Dayforce. This role involves supporting Time & Attendance (T&A) and Human Capital Management (HCM) technical queries, particularly in pay and time-off rules that define employee pay processing and time-off accruals. Key responsibilities include leading global system enhancements, partnering with product owners to architect technical solutions, implementing system configurations, and mentoring team members. A successful candidate is motivated to learn, possesses high technical aptitude, thinks critically about processes and system functionality, drives change, and thrives in a fast-paced, independent work environment.

The Payroll Technology team is a collaborative and diverse group supporting time and attendance applications for companies across Koch. The team drives value by transforming user experiences, eliminating manual processes, and ensuring accurate time records for employee pay. Members work together to advance processes, initiatives, vision, and strategy while expanding their knowledge of the system and supporting customers through issue tickets and configuration projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to develop profitable, well-designed solutions for Payroll.
- Lead discussions to design technical and business solutions.
- Develop system configuration based on business requirements.
- Lead problem-solving efforts for production support.
- Resolve complex support and system issues.
- Identify opportunities and deliver improvements to business processes and day-to-day activities.

Requirements
- Expertise in managing or supporting Dayforce and other Payroll systems.
- Highly proficient in integration technologies, development, and system configuration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address complex problems.
- Strong relationship-building skills with business partners and teams, including mentoring others.
- Ability to design and build profitable solutions for the organization.
Qualifications
The following qualifications will put you ahead:
- Dayforce background.
- Prior experience with technologies like XML, SFTP, API, and custom reporting.
- Experience providing solutions for global customers.
- Knowledge of ITIL, including IT implementation methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.) or equivalent IT service management training and experience.
- Experience working in a product team and using Agile methodology.
- Experience using a service ticketing system, such as ServiceNow.
