Strategy and Business Development
Develop and execute to vision for assigned practices and departments.
Prioritize and implement strategic business objectives.
Maintain physician relations to ensure access to care, coordinated care services, and growth.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage to, operating budget.
Manage utilization of workforce.
Identify and make recommendations for capital budget needs.
Maintain inventory and collaborate with value analysis to implement best use of supplies and services.
Accountable for revenue, expenses, and overall profitability of assigned areas.
Management and Professional Development
- Facilitate training and development for all staff.
Maintain records and ensure all employee compliance with competency requirements.
Manage performance of all assigned staff.
Delegate appropriately to develop staff skills, foster a team environment, and evaluate clinical performance.
Maintain working relationships with participating providers in areas of responsibility.
Maintain records and ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
Allocate labor according to set standards; interview and select personnel.
Utilize data to effectively manage processes and resources in alignment with objectives and goals.
Lead collaboration with other departments and services.
Operations
- Lead the daily operations of each assigned area.
Establish, and manage to, standard work processes.
Utilize performance improvement and innovation tools to identify opportunities and implement changes.
Support ongoing work to fully utilize EMR and other computer and networking tools.
Process payroll and other regular staffing activities.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Oversee audits and other reinforcement of quality, infection prevention, and other standards.
Collaborate with Division Chiefs, Directors, and other clinicians to ensure patient care meets established standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Business Management, Business Administration or related field is required. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience: 4 years of progressively responsible medical practice management experience is required. Supervisory Experience Required.
- Licensure, Certifications: CPC, CMPE, CMOM, CMMM, CPPM or CSPPM preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of ambulatory medical practice/ physician practice operations.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Electronic Medical Record systems. EPIC is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of clinical and business compliance requirements.
- Understanding of physician practice billing systems preferred.
Benefits
- Pay Range: $74,965.56 - $127,441.45
- Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
