About the Role
The Sr. Accounts Payable Associate plays a key role in managing the accounts payable process to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. This position supports the Finance and Accounting teams by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and driving operational efficiency during a period of rapid company growth.
Responsibilities
- Process and review high volumes of inventory and operating expense invoices accurately
- Manage vendor invoice intake, credit memos, coding, and routing for approval
- Ensure invoices are approved by the appropriate departments in a timely manner
- Create and maintain vendor master records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ExFlow
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Respond promptly to vendor and internal inquiries
- Analyze accounts payable aging reports and proactively resolve outstanding issues
- Review marketing expenses for accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounts payable processes
- Support additional accounting and accounts payable projects as needed
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of invoice processing experience in a manufacturing, retail, or high-growth eCommerce/CPG environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice matching, reconciliations, and vendor management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ExFlow
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Pay
$85,000–$95,000 USD annual base salary
