About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Accounts Payable Associate based in United States. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts payable professional to join a fast-growing, fully remote organization focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review high volumes of inventory and operating expense invoices accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, invoice coding, approvals, credit memos, and master data maintenance within financial systems.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and respond promptly to internal and external inquiries.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging reports, identify outstanding issues, and proactively drive timely resolution.
  • Review marketing-related expenses and cost trackers to ensure billing accuracy and proper financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other departments to improve accounts payable workflows, strengthen internal processes, and support additional accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Associ’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounts payable or invoice processing experience within a manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, or high-growth eCommerce environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ExFlow is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice matching, reconciliations, vendor management, and financial controls.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, hands-on approach to supporting business operations.
