About the Role
AWS is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Manager to sell to Strategic ISVs and expand business with key ISV customers. This role involves setting a long-term strategy and executing daily to grow customers, while also managing partnership and GTM goals with these companies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain broad relationships across all aspects of the customer's organization, including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner organizations, and sales teams
- Develop and manage opportunities while facilitating a large team of extended resources
- Apply creative systems thinking, visioning, and collaboration to address all ISV customer needs
- Sell at the most strategic (C-level) level and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation
- Work collaboratively with AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests
- Advocate for the customer while balancing AWS business needs
- Drive new service adoption and new line of business development
- Manage dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of tech sales experience to enterprise customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS technologies
Pay & Compensation
- Base salary range varies by location:
- San Francisco, CA and New York, NY: $157,100 - $212,600 USD annually
- Austin, TX; Arlington, VA; and Seattle, WA: $142,800 - $193,200 USD annually
- Package includes sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives
- Final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and location
