About the role
As a CBRE Account Management Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for delivering all client commitments. This role is part of the Operations Management job functions, coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching.
- Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
- Interact and consult with clients to understand business needs, coordinate resources, and build strategic operational plans.
- Balance client expectations with execution of work.
- Manage several clients simultaneously while serving as a point of contact for systems and processes for new and current projects.
- Oversee sales and relationships with key customers, ensuring proper services and enhancements are carried out.
- Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts.
- Direct the project process, including developing project plans, creating a project team, and managing timeframes and performance.
- Verify timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs, objectives, and contract specifics.
- Consult with internal and client teams to define project requirements and investigate various approaches.
- Apply robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, business, and key drivers impacting departmental and cross-functional performance.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Persuade managers and colleagues to take action guided by the organization’s functional business plans.
- Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers to reach common goals.
- Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex operational and organizational problems using appropriate resources.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay
The minimum salary for the Sr. Account Director position is $170,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $185,000 annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
