Springhill Suites - Line Cook (Full Time)

About the role

The Springhill Suites is seeking a Line Cook to join their team. This position offers a chance to learn new skills in a supportive environment with health benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards
• Maintain consistent food preparation and plate presentation for the pool area and guests
• Stock the line, pantries or walk-in refrigerators/freezers
• Prepares items requested from the kitchen, working with other cooks to ensure timely and correct service
• Clean the kitchen and assist with other stations as needed
• Unload delivery trucks and store inventory correctly
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

Requirements

• At least one year of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant
• Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience preparing meals for all meal periods (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
• Ability to walk, stand, push/pull up to 50lbs, and lift up to 50lbs during a full shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Strong culinary skills
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
