About the role

The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is a 50-year-old home health agency seeking Speech Therapists across Florida. As a Speech Therapist, you will ensure the delivery of quality speech therapy services and provide case management for patients through comprehensive assessments and coordination of agency services. You will work with family members and local healthcare professionals to implement services to meet the needs of patients and families in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality speech therapy services
• Provide case management for patients through comprehensive assessments and coordination of agency services
• Work with family members and local healthcare professionals to implement services to meet the needs of patients and families in their homes
• Complete physical assessments and determine any patient home care needs
• Work with the care team for each patient while using VNA of Florida's case management model

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida
• Experience in providing speech therapy services in a home health setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel and work in various locations within Florida

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Experience in managing complex cases
• Knowledge of VNA of Florida's case management model

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
