Speech Therapist (SLP), PRN

About the role

Piedmont Post Acute is an 88-bed skilled nursing facility in Piedmont, South Carolina. The position offers competitive pay ($45–$55/hour) with PRN opportunities within the largest network in South Carolina. Supportive and team-driven therapy environment is provided, and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in care plan meetings, rehab conferences, and discharge planning
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniques
• Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicable
• Conduct staff in-services and training programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelines

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Master’s preferred)
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Experience in long-term care or rehab preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
