Key Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
  • Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
  • Provide staff education and in-service training
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable)

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
  • Must meet all state and federal requirements for clinical practice
  • Maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
