Speech Therapist (SLP), PRN

River Falls Post Acute, located in Marietta, South Carolina, offers a competitive salary range of $45–$50 per hour, flexible PRN scheduling, and reliable hours within the largest post-acute care network in South Carolina. The position is part-time and open to those who enjoy a supportive therapy team and low-key, fun work environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment goals and outcomes
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility, regulatory, and payer requirements
• Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning activities
• Education residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and maintenance programs
• Maintain compliance with all state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
• Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Must meet one of the following requirements: Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state in which services are provided, Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care, Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba
• Must have strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in good standing
• Maintain all required continuing education requirements
• Remain in good standing with the applicable State Board
