Speech Therapist - PRN

Role Overview Provides speech-language pathology services by evaluating, assessing, and developing treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities. Communicates evaluation results, delivers therapy according to established goals, and documents care in medical records. Reassesses patient progress, adjusts plans as needed, and plans for discharge with patient and family education, follow-up, and referrals. May supervise clinical students and support staff, contributing to staff development and healthcare improvement initiatives. Adheres to ethical standards and maintains a caring relationship to facilitate healing. Performs additional duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations based on subjective and objective data.Communicate evaluation findings to patients and caregivers.Deliver treatment aligned with care plans.Document interventions and progress.Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly.Provide discharge planning and education.Support staff and student development.Participate in healthcare quality improvement activities.Achieve assigned goals. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.Possess SLP-CCC licensure.Maintain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Basic computer skills such as keyboarding and navigation.
