Speech Therapist - PRN

About the role

The Speech Therapist assesses and treats patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy within legal scope and in coordination with the healthcare team
• Evaluate patient function through diagnostic tests and assist in care plan development
• Treat patients to improve communication effectively
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on therapy techniques
• Function effectively in diverse home environments regardless of patient demographics

Requirements

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to transportation

Qualifications

• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Availability for weekend work

Pay

Salary range from $74,936 to $112,404 annually.
