Speech Therapist - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist to provide pediatric home health services, evaluating and treating clients according to physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating clients and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Initiating therapy, monitoring progress, and communicating with physicians, families, and healthcare team members.
• Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborating with team members and participating in care planning, conferences, and staff training.
• Providing education to clients, families, and staff as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC or equivalent experience working with neurological disorders in children and adults.
• Valid state license or active license application, and registration with health departments if applicable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, operate basic medical devices, and handle stress effectively.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
