Speech Therapist - Outpatient

About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist provides outpatient rehabilitation services primarily in patients' homes, including private residences and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and adapt treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and physicians
• Supervise support personnel
• Ensure documentation compliance
• Promote patient safety
• Select appropriate activities and instruct patients
• Coordinate care and refer to other disciplines as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice
• Reliable transportation
