Speech Therapist - Outpatient Therapy

About the Role

Provides speech-language pathology services across assisted living facilities (ALF), independent living facilities (ILF), and community settings, helping patients improve communication and swallowing abilities. Responsible for designing and implementing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with team members, and referring patients when necessary. Must address individual patient needs, promote independence, and educate patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for speech and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Refer patients to other specialists or services as needed
• Provide hands-on therapy and manage necessary equipment
• Deliver effective rehabilitation services through reporting and documentation
• Educate patients and caregivers to support ongoing progress and independence

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• State licensure or certification as required

Pay
